Terms of Service

Effective October 29, 2026

These terms apply when you use DociKit (docikit.com), operated by Muhammad Hamza Tariq, Pakistan. By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use DociKit.

1. The service

DociKit provides online tools to convert, edit and analyse documents and images. Some tools are free; others require a free account or a paid Pro plan. We may add, change or remove tools over time.

2. Your files

• You keep all rights to the files you upload and the results you download.
• You may only upload files you own or have permission to use. Tools that remove a password are meant for files you are allowed to open.
• You give us permission to store and process your files only as needed to provide the service. Files are deleted automatically, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use DociKit to:

• upload illegal content, malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• attack, overload or try to break into the service, or get around usage limits;
• use automated tools or bots to send large numbers of requests, except through an official API we offer;
• resell the service without our written agreement.

We may block uploads, limit usage or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Accounts

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at connect@docikit.com if you think someone else has used it.

5. Pro plans and payment

• Pro is a subscription billed monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you buy.
• It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are handled by our payment provider, which may act as the seller of record and add local taxes.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
• "Fair use" limits on Pro protect the service for everyone; we will contact you before restricting heavy use.

6. AI features

AI summaries and answers are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Check important information against the original document. Don't rely on AI output alone for legal, medical, financial or other professional decisions.

7. Availability

We work to keep DociKit available and your results accurate, but the service is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of important files.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you use only free tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending use

You can stop using DociKit and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service; if we end a paid plan for reasons other than a breach, we will refund the unused part.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell account holders about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
